The Delaware Chapter of Community Movement Builders was formed to support organizing and community sustainability work in Wilmington, DE. The Delaware chapter grounds itself in the values of Black self-determination, economic justice (cooperative economic), transformation, radical education, and community leadership development. We focus on political education, youth organizing, community organizing, and policy work impacting Black people in Wilmington, DE.

At the Delaware Chapter of Community Movement Builders (CMB), our Political Education (PE) gatherings are a cornerstone of building a self-determined, resilient, and empowered community.
What We Do at PE
We cultivate radical education and critical consciousness through:
Interactive Discussions: Engaging dialogues on transformative ideas and their application to our community’s liberation.
Book Studies: Exploring works that deepen our understanding of self-determination, equity, and justice.
Workshops: Hands-on learning to foster leadership, cooperative economics, and community-driven change.
